physiotherapy
Working with your body
Our approach to physiotherapy is centred on building a strong, supportive relationship between each client and their body. No two people are the same, so we use comprehensive assessments to assist us in understanding you as a whole person, not just your symptoms. This supports us in creating personalised, hands-on treatments for every person.
We are dedicated to continual research, the development of new treatments, and delivering exceptional care while helping our clients build understanding, trust, and confidence in their bodies.

How can physiotherapy
support your health?
Chronic pain
Chronic pain is in epidemic proportions globally; in Australia 1 in 5 live with chronic pain, this includes adolescents and children. What is scary is that this prevalence rises to 1 in 3 people over the age of 65 (Pain Australia). This means one person in every family suffers with chronic pain.
headaches / migraines
Our head and neck are part of a complex and delicate system of nerves, bones, ligaments and soft tissue. Treating chronic headaches and migraines requires a comprehensive approach covering areas of structure, alignment, immune system, inflammation, connective tissue health, hydration, sleep, eye strain, dental problems and of course stress. We can help guide you in navigating all areas of health that are contributing to your migraines and headaches.
women's health
Women's bodies are not just a smaller version of a man's body (as was originally thought). A woman's physiology and soft tissue are different, requiring a specialised approach in most areas of health. Women also respond differently to treatment depending on whether they are teenagers, young adults or more mature in age. Without a specialist approach to nurturing a woman through each stage of her life, we miss many of the cues necessary to support her in her health and well-being.
Complex dental problems
Did you know that the way you hold your head, neck and upper body can contribute to jaw and neck pain? Chronic jaw pain is very common and often associated with complex dental problems, chronic neck tension and pain or headaches.
long-term sports injuries
An athlete’s body can appear to be superior in fitness, function and performance in terms of strength, physical capacity and even flexibility. However, this does not mean they have a healthy connective tissue system. Their functional body just presents one small part of a whole system. Often athletes carry long term soft tissue or joint strains that can benefit from specialised connective tissue work.
Work with babies & Infants
Is your baby having trouble settling or feeding or feels generally out of sorts? Gentle physiotherapy can allow your baby to let go of tight spinal tissue and digestive imbalance that can cause agitation.
Adolescent Health
In today's modern world teenagers tend to be under a lot of pressure at school with expectations to achieve. Kate regularly sees young people who are experiencing high levels of stress with associated physical symptoms of tension and pain, particularly in the neck, back and legs.
Support for mature ages
In our elder years we are often more prone to changes in our bone strength, posture and muscular structure. Many have less confidence with their balance and movements and some have a fear of falling. But it doesn't have to be this way. Our elder years can be extremely enriching and we can have great quality of life when we support our body with gentle physiotherapy, body awareness and connective tissue exercises.
